Our Worship Services

All three worship services at Grandview include a thought-provoking message.  In additional to music, art often enhances our sacred spaces.  You can expect to laugh, to think, to wonder, and to change as a result of worshipping here.

earlyservice8:15
Who attends our 8:15 worship service?  People who wake up early!  Our early service is our simplest service, and people who want a quiet and reflective traditional worship service--a message, some hymn singing, but not a lot more--tend to value it.  Some worshipers like to stay for adult Sunday school classes that follow this service.

9:30
Worship takes place in a coffeehouse setting.  Music includes contemporary Christian and gospel songs led by a band with talented youth and adults.  People share from their hearts at prayer time.  There's little written liturgy.  Often, we gather around tables and the conversation and discussion there become part of the message as we grapple with scripture together.  Children sometimes choose to attend worship with their families at this service or to attend Sunday school or to play in the nursery.

This traditional worship service includes music from our adult choir as well as congregational hymns.  Children may pick up an activity bag and stay in worship with their families or may depart for special educational activities.  The nursery is also open.
