A calendar of spring musicals at high schools our students attend is on the Youth Page.  Your presence means a lot to them, and you will enjoy seeing their talents displayed in a wide variety of shows this year.  Manheim Township, where our church is located, is doing "Into the Woods," in which you'll encounter some familiar characters from fairy tales--and also some familiar "characters" from Grandview's youth group.  Mark and Beth Wagner direct.

Acolytes Needed PDF Print Email

Are you tall enough to light the candles in the front of the church?  Are you strong enough to
open the Bible on the altar?  If you answered yes to these two questions, then you qualify to be an
acolyte.  Please consider joining our current acolytes who serve during the 10:45 worship service.
Acolytes help to provide a worship service for the people of Grandview. Light is a very important
symbol in our faith.  When acolytes begin our worship by lighting the candles, they do something
fairly simple – but it symbolizes something ancient, strong, and deeply important to the Christian
story:  Christ is the Light of the World!  The first two things to know about being an acolyte are it
is important and meaningful and you can do it. If you are interested in joining the team of
acolytes or for more information please contact Tammy Horning at 394-6887.

Children's Sunday School PDF Print Email
Tuesday, August 18 2009 08:37
Are you in first to fifth grade? Do you like art? Or science? How about working on computers, acting out stories, or cooking special treats? If you said, “Yes!” to any of these, then make sure you come to Sunday School at 9:30. Each week we have a different activity that helps us learn more about God and the Bible. You will be with kids your own age and some very fun grown-ups. If you are in first and second grade, meet in the Fireplace Room. If you are in third to fifth grade, meet in the classroom next door to that one.

If your family comes to our 10:45 worship, make sure to grab a kids’ bag in the back of the sanctuary; there are some interesting things in there, related to worship. If you would like to sing in the Kids’ Choir, come to Church a little earlier. The choir sings around 10:15 in the Fireplace Room downstairs, and you are welcome to join.
