Women's Ministry

Grandview's chapter of United Methodist Women welcomes all women to be part of a circle (small group), to engage in the annual reading program (great books!), or to take part in events of service, learning, and social action.  Women also engage in other small groups and the Stellar Stitchers knitting group, which makes prayer shawls (knitting men welcome, too!).

UMW Southwest District will hold it’s annual Ingathering Saturday, April 10. Donations are needed by Monday, April 5.
The special request is socks in all sizes for children, women, and men. Also, there is demand for new underwear in all sizes. Due to limited storage space in the local clothing banks, this is a different need from previous years. A basket in the Gathering Room closet will accept your contributions. Helen Strathmeyer, needlework chairperson, can answer any questions.
