Last night, members of Grandview voted overwhelmingly (90-12, plus two absentions) to go forward with our Building Up, Reaching Out renovation program.  If all goes well, we should be breaking ground before the end of October.

Thanks to members of the initial Facilities Visioning Team, to the Campaign Leadership Team (chaired by Dave and Audrey Marschka, Dick and Marge Trout, and John and Roxanne Edwards), to the Building Team (Ken Miller, John Edwards, Cheryl Dennis, Rich Wurst, the pastors, and Bob Desmarais, chair), and to Council, who have shepherded the program with listening ears, generous hearts, and courageous spirits.  Thanks to many individuals who donated many, many hours of their professional talents to get us to this point, including Dave Lobb and CraigWalton, Dan Blakinger, and Bob Desmarais. 

Thanks to everyone who came out to meetings and gave their input.  And most of all, thanks to all who are holding this project up in prayer.

We have an exciting sense of God's Spirit alive and moving in our midst.
